
SIoT 2026 will take place October 13th–15th, 2026, at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. The symposium will highlight recent research advances in the Internet of Things (IoT) and related areas, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students to share ideas, results, and perspectives.
Co-located with the 2026 Latin American and Brazilian Congress on IoT (LABCIoT 2026), the event will foster synergy between research and real-world applications, as well as discussions on markets, opportunities, programs, and government initiatives shaping the IoT ecosystem.
The 2026 Symposium on the Internet of Things is jointly organized by FEEC-Unicamp, the Brazilian Internet of Things Forum (FBIoT), and the São Paulo Center on Energy Transition Studies (CPTEn) - a FAPESP Science for Development Center (CCD) dedicated to energy for development and energy efficiency.
SIoT 2026 brings together leading researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advances in IoT, emerging challenges, and future directions. The program will feature invited talks, technical sessions with oral presentations of full papers, as well as poster sessions, providing a comprehensive view of ongoing research and innovation.

SIoT’s primary goal is to bring together professionals and students working in the multidisciplinary area of the Internet of Things (IoT) to present and discuss their work, results, and applications. The symposium welcomes participants from Brazil and abroad, including members of academia, research institutes, government agencies, and the business sector, fostering dialogue and collaboration across the IoT ecosystem.
